MLB & ASTROS YOUTH ACADEMY WORLD SERIES PLAY BALL CLINIC

Congratulations to the Houston Astros for winning the 2022 American League Championship and advancing to the World Series! In honor of the World Series, Major League Baseball and the Houston Astros Youth Academy will be hosting a Play Ball Clinic on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the Astros Youth Academy (2801 S. Victory Dr., 77088).  Clinic is FREE and will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Clinic is ONLY for boys and girls ages 5-10 and will be limited to the first 150 participants to sign up.  There will be no walk-up registrations. Only participants that are registered will be allowed to participate.  Clinic will take place rain or shine.  Please wear athletic attire:  baseball/softball pants, Play Ball T-shirt (will be given to all participants), hat and tennis shoes or cleats. Participants can bring a glove but a glove is not required.  Participants do not need to bring a bat or helmet. Entrance for the clinic will be at Field #2 (See map below).  Clinic will feature former Astros Players and Legends, current and former Major League Baseball Players as well as others.

There will be very limited seating and shade in the stands for parents. If you wish to stay, please bring your own folding/portable chair and shade.

Due to Covid-19 youth attending activities at the Youth Academy will utilize water bottles for water and hydration. Parents are strongly urged to provide youth with AT LEAST 3-4 bottles of water or water jug. WATER WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.
