2023 ASTROS YOUTH ACADEMY FREE BASEBALL/SOFTBALL SUMMER CAMPS

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON: MONDAY, MAY 8, 2023 AT 12:00 NOON

2023 Summer Camp Dates and Times:

Week 1: June 5-9, 2023

Week 2: June 12-16, 2023

Week 3: June 19-23, 2023

Summer Camp Times are 9:00 AM - 12:00 NOON each day.

SUMMER CAMP DETAILS

- Boys & Girls Ages 7-17
- Sessions are weekly (Monday - Friday.)
- Camps will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 noon each day.
- Be on time (8:45 a.m.), dressed, and ready to practice!
- Baseball/Softball pants (white, grey or black), Hat and Camp T-shirt (Camp T-shirt will be provided) are required and must be worn every day of camp.
- Please bring all equipment (glove, baseball shoes, bat, etc...)
- Parents must make arrangements for their child to be picked up at 11:45 a.m. each day.
- THERE WILL BE NO LUNCH PROVIDED.

Due to Covid-19 there will be no water provided.  Youth attending activities at the Youth Academy will utilize water bottles for water and hydration. Parents are strongly urged to provide youth with at least four (4) bottles of water or water jug per participant.

Houston summers are hot; if your child is not interested in being outside from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. daily we ask that you refrain from enrolling them into our camps. The camps are all individual weeks meaning you MUST select and sign up for each week separately. These camps are strictly baseball/softball instructional activities meaning your child needs to be seriously interested in one of the two sports. Discipline expectations and attendance are extremely important to us; we must have your complete support in this area. SPACES ARE LIMITED! Registration for individual weeks will close when each week reaches capacity.

If you are currently not a member, please click on the following link to 'Become A Member' of the Astros Youth Academy. Parents will have to create an account in our database and then add each child member. Once the online application is submitted you will be notified through the email address you provide to sign up for all upcoming AYA Leagues, Camps, Clinics, Events and Activities. COMPLETION OF THIS APPLICATION DOES NOT REGISTER/ENROLL YOUR CHILD IN SUMMER CAMP. YOU WILL HOWEVER BE NOTIFIED OF ALL FUTURE/UPCOMING AYA ACTIVITIES THAT YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN CAN ATTEND INCLUDING SUMMER CAMP.
